Danziger showcases expanded breeding at Spring Trials
April 8, 2016 By Dave Harrison
April 8, 2016, Gilroy, CA — Danziger ‘Dan’ Flower Farm will feature expanded breeding efforts as well as its growing global network of cutting supply facilities at this year’s California Spring Trials.
“We’ve made exciting steps in expanding both our global breeding and supply efforts,” says Chanochi Zaks, vice-president of sales.
“We’re excited to give customers the opportunity to see the difference with new bi-continent catalogues featuring innovative new varieties.”
New introductions for 2016 include the new and exciting petunia series Amoré™, headlined by ‘Queen of Hearts,’ all decorated with heart shapes on each flower.
Also debuting will be the notably compact calibrachoa series Colibri™, the petunia Classic Blue Ray™, and an exciting palette of bidens colours.
The company will also launch a new perennials catalogue, as well as annuals catalogues for both the North American and European markets, and give customers insight into a state-of-the-art 1.2-hectare expansion at their Guatemala production facility.
“The additional production space will allow us to answer increasing market demand for the high level of quality we provide,” says Zaks. “It also gives us the ability to increase our offering and enhance service to our customers in the global market.”
Danziger’s Spring Trials display is located at 4860 Monterey Rd. in Gilroy, California. Hours are 8 to 5 from April 9-14.
