Two webinars on tomato brown rugose fruit virus set for April

For producers with questions on the tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV), Greenhouse Canada will be hosting two new webinars this April.

Webinar #1: Keeping out the rugose

April 28, 2020 at 2pm (ET): Cara McCreary, Greenhouse vegetable IPM specialist with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, will dive into the symptoms of ToBRFV and pathways for transmission, as well as updates on preventative measures.

Webinar #2: Rugose at the border

April 29, 2020 at 2pm (ET): Dr. Michael Bledsoe, Vice President of Food Safety and Regulatory Affairs at Village Farms shares their experiences since the US federal order introduced last November. Bledsoe is responsible for compliance, working with regulatory agencies across the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
