Feb. 19, 2013, Simcoe, ON — Expect Canadian Garden Centre & Nursery to look a little different the next time it hits your mailbox.
We're rolling the magazine into Greenhouse Canada, our sister publication serving commercial greenhouse growers from coast to coast. Combining the two magazines will allow us to offer a single resource to the growers who produce plants and the retailers who sell them.
The March/April edition of Greenhouse Canada will include the first of two special Garden Centre sections spotlighting the retail side of the green industry. Scheduled topics will include: tips for mentoring staff members; merchandising ideas; a biocontrol story with deep roots at the Greenhouse and Processing Crops Research Centre in Harrow, Ont., and much, much more.
The second Garden Centre section will be published in the August edition of Greenhouse Canada.
Canadian Garden Centre & Nursery subscribers who have renewed their subscriptions within the last three years will automatically be grandfathered on to Greenhouse Canada’s subscription list. Older subscribers will need to start a subscription to Greenhouse Canada to ensure that they continue to receive Canadian Garden Centre & Nursery content in print.
On the web, the Canadian Garden Centre & Nursery site will continue to serve the independent garden centre sector, providing updates on the latest industry headlines, new product releases and upcoming events. The site will also offer web exclusives designed to help owners and operators build their businesses.
