Sollum Technologies launches research program in horticultural lighting

Sept. 14, 2023 – Sollum Technologies has launched a new research program and is set to partner with research centres and universities across the United States.

The program, named S.E.A.R.C.H™ 1, is designed to enable researchers and institutions to bring about breakthroughs in the knowledge and practice of horticultural lighting while using Sollum’s LED grow light solution.

Goals of this program include aiming to improve the way plants are grown indoors by using fully adaptable lighting solutions to optimize growth, increase product quality and shelf life, contribute to pest management and promote resource efficiency.

As the research program takes root, Sollum anticipates research outcomes that will shape the trajectory of horticulture lighting.
