PW increases Canadian advertising

May 14, 2009 — Proven Winners® will extend its advertising plans in Canada to now include the June 15th issue of Lifestyle Magazine — a high gloss, full colour regional publication distributed in the Globe and Mail.  The primary target audience of this magazine is women age 40 and older who are the final decision-makers of items in the home décor and gardening category.

Lifestyle British Columbia, Lifestyle Alberta, Lifestyle Ontario and Lifestyle Atlantic (Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland) will distribute 75,000 issues featuring the Proven Winners ad in conjunction with three pages of gardening editorial. This article will focus on several Proven Winners varieties including 'Supertunia® Vista Silverberry,' 'Diamond Frost®,' 'Tukana® Scarlet Star,' 'Flirtation® Pink,' and 'Laguna™ Heavenly Lilac.'

The ad offers the Proven Winners® Gardener's Idea Book to gardeners who either visit the website or call the toll-free number.

In addition to Lifestyle Magazine, Proven Winners has advertised this spring in other popular consumer publications such as Canadian Living and Canadian Gardening — reaching nearly one million readers throughout Canada.
