BFG Supply acquires DeCloet Greenhouse Manufacturing

BFG Supply has acquired Canadian greenhouse manufacturer DeCloet Greenhouse Manufacturing Ltd.

Headquartered in Burton, Ohio, greenhouse supplier BFG was founded in 1972. BFG distributes a range of products across the green industry segments including professional horticulture, lawn & garden, hydroponic and controlled environment agriculture.

DeCloet, headquartered in Simcoe, Ont., was founded in 1986 and has served customers for close to 35 years. The company ships greenhouse structure to customers throughout the United States and Canada.

“DeCloet’s strong reputation for quality is a great fit with BFG’s strategy to be the premier supplier for greenhouse solutions in the horticulture and CEA markets. The acquisition expands BFG’s product offerings and promises to increase value to the customers of both companies.” says Dave Daily, president and CEO of BFG in a company press release dated July 7, 2021.

Ben DeCloet, founder and president of DeCloet adds, “The purchase of DeCloet by BFG recognizes their commitment to, and their positive belief in, the growing greenhouse industry across North America. I am leaving the company and its employees in good hands and am excited for the future opportunities BFG will bring to DeCloet.”

According to BFG, DeCloet will continue to operate under its own brand. Existing customers will be able to access BFG products.
