2020 California Spring Trials cancelled

As the last few standing breeders bow out of the California Spring Trials, the 2020 event is officially cancelled.

“Our event [was] officially cancelled as of late-Friday,” according to an email from Ball Hort. “State and federal recommendations changed rapidly last week, so our decision to close was based on those guidelines of social distancing to help curb the spread of COVID-19.”

Breeders will be turning to digital means of communicating their latest varieties, including videos and webinars.
