The merger represents the combination of expertise of two major players
in the floral, garden and gift markets. Meyer Imports will operate as a
division of Westbrook Floral Ltd. to improve customer service, order
fill-rates, quality product and pricing. This will allow for the
continuation of the great service and wide selection of products that
Meyer Imports is known for. Meyer Imports now in its 33rd year has long
been a source for great Home and Garden Accessories.
Westbrook has been in operation for over 50 years. Located in the heart
of Ontario's Niagara Peninsula, this family run business includes three
separate greenhouse locations with a total production area of over
thirty acres, a corporate head office facility and a floral
distribution centre. Westbrook offers a complete selection of cut
flowers, bouquets, potted plants, dish gardens as well as a complete
line of florist supplies and accessories. Floral products are delivered
on a daily basis to all points in Canada as well as the United States
Westbrook Floral Ltd. is pleased to announce that Sonya Meyer,
president of Meyer Imports, will also be joining the Westbrook team as
the Meyer Division Manager for the continued growth and developement of
the Meyer brand. The Meyer phone numbers, email addresses and website
will remain unchanged. The Meyer offices, warehouse and showroom will
be relocated to Grimsby. The central office will be located at 270

In order to facilitate a positive move, Meyer will be closed for a
two-week period beginning Friday, July 24 and re-opening for business
on Aug. 10. Sales agents can be contacted as per normal during this
time. The revamped Meyer Imports & Westbrook Showrooms will be open
in Grimsby on Tuesday, Sept. 8.
