Sept. 11, 2014, Toronto – The Canada Blooms rose will be the official flower of its namesake show in 2015.

Rosa CA28 first emerged in Saint-Jean-Sur-Richelieu, Que., and was later adopted by the Canadian Nursery Landscape Association. Now known as the Canada Blooms rose, it is a classic-looking hybrid-tea rose that was grown under the same Canadian Rose Breeding Program that developed the genetics for the Emily Carr, Felix LeClerc and Campfire roses.

The Canada Blooms rose previously made a brief appearance at Canada Blooms in 2014, thanks to wholesale grower J.C. Bakker & Sons.

The 2015 edition of Canada Blooms will run March 12 to 22, 2015 at the Direct Energy Centre in Toronto. For more information, visit www.canadablooms.com.
