Kurt Dramm inducted into The Green Industry Hall of Fame

Photo courtesy of DRAMM Corporation/Dec. 4, 2023 – The International Green Industry Hall of Fame (IGIHOF) inducted Kurt Dramm with a Lifetime Achievement Award during the 2023 ceremony. His name will now be listed in the Green Industry Hall of Fame.
The IGIHOF’s mission is to “recognize individuals and organizations for outstanding achievements in the green industry.”
Nominees must have been in the Green Industry for over 20 years, developed or invented a new technology, made contributions that resulted in change, and provided education.

Kurt Dramm and his brother John formed the Dramm Company in 1968 to produce garden and greenhouse watering products. When not working as a librarian, their mother, Perdita, had formally maintained the business, which operated out of her basement.
Following his brother’s passing, Kurt grew the Dramm Corporation over the next 45 years into four segments: Commercial Greenhouse Equipment, Retail Gardening Products, Drammatic® Organic Fertilizer, and DRAMMwater for greenhouse water treatment systems.
Kurt passed away on May 16, 2023. The 2023 Green Industry Hall of Fame Inductee Ceremony occurred on November 18, at the Black Gold Golf Club in California. Several of Kurt Dramm’s family members were in attendance.
