Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable Growers (OGVG) is receiving up to $181,000 in funding over the next two years through Growing Forward 2 (GF2), to launch a comprehensive U.S. in-store demo program.

The funding follows a successful pilot in 2013, and OGVG is appreciative the federal and provincial governments are supporting this full-scale program.

“Our experience suggests, that providing an opportunity to try a product first hand is one of the best ways to reach consumers,” says OGVG chair Don Taylor.

“We believe this is an excellent way to showcase the quality, flavour and varieties available to the marketplace from Ontario greenhouse vegetable growers.”
