Vertical farming operators look to Peterborough for expansion

Aug. 29, 2023 – Vertical farming could help the economy grow in the Peterborough region — but there are some barriers, experts say. According to the Peterborough and Kawarthas Economic Development, a number of vertical farming companies have expressed interest in joining the region’s agricultural scene.
