Within the next few weeks, it will begin shipping a welcome taste of spring with the first deliveries of its healthy and beautiful red, orange and yellow bell peppers.
“We’re working hard to get to market with all of our peppers, and we believe we’re well ahead of the pack,” said Jordan Kniaziew, vice-president of Orangeline Farms.
“I suppose you could call it our ‘Own the Shelf’ strategy,” he adds, tongue in cheek.
Zing! Healthy Foods is a premium specialty grower of fine produce whose mission is to add Zing! to dinner plates across North America. “Doing that requires innovative thinking and a commitment to leadership,” says Kniaziew.
“We’ll be demonstrating that soon with other interesting new products that are almost ready to ship.”
Asked what those might be, Kniaziew smiled and added, “Not to string you along, but we really are focused on our early-to-market peppers right now. But trust us, you won’t be waiting long for other good news.”
