Dates set for Congress 2015

June 11, 2014  By Canadian Garden Centre & Nursery

June 11, 2014, Toronto — Mark your calendars! The 42nd edition of
Landscape Ontario's Congress is set to kick off 2015 with
professional development, the latest industry innovations, leading
trends and networking opportunities with experts and peers.

From Jan. 6 to 8, 2015, Congress will offer an eight-acre trade show featuring more than 600 multinational vendors, creating powerful networking opportunities and a chance to check out the latest gear before the landscape and gardening season gets under way.

The co-location of Congress with the Canadian Fence Industry Association’s Fencecraft and Landscape Ontario’s multiple partnerships in the Green Infrastructure Pavilion will offer a glimpse into allied industry products and create multiple business opportunities from new and untapped markets.

This year, Landscape Ontario has also partnered with a number of universities and colleges to present a revitalized Education Hub – a new feature area consisting of a 3,000 square foot garden that demonstrates the creativity, collaboration and integration of talent from the professors, students and suppliers responsible for the garden. Business owners hoping to recruit a new generation of skilled workers will find them here.

Landscape Ontario’s four-day conference program begins on Jan. 5, 2015 with a series of industry specific seminars hosted by sector groups for integrated pest management (IPM), landscape design, irrigation and prosperity partnerships. The full conference will run Jan. 6 to 8, 2015 at the Toronto Congress Centre.
