Montreal Walmart selling vegetables grown in rooftop greenhouse

A Walmart near Montreal is selling fresh vegetables grown in a 127,000 sq.-ft. hydroponic greenhouse that sits atop its store. In what is a first for both Lufa Farms — whose produce is grown in the state-of-the-art greenhouse — and Walmart Canada, products from the rotating crops of tomatoes, cucumbers and bell peppers will be harvested and available in-store ‘in as fast as an hour,’ Hortidaily reports.
