Mr.
Pillon’s family will receive friends on June 11 at the Secord & Smith Funeral Home,

The
following is Mr. Pillon’s obituary notice:

 PILLON,
Douglas Vernon — It is with profound sadness that Doug's family announces his
sudden passing on June 8, 2010 at the age of 44 years. Doug leaves behind his
wife and best friend of 20 years, Pam (St. Pierre) along with their sons, Nick
and Connor. Doug loved life and the outdoors especially spending time on the
quad or on the water with his family and his friends. He leaves to mourn his
mother Judy Pillon and siblings, Margaret, Roger, Les (Khone) and Lisa (Denny)
and sister-in-law Helen. He was pre-deceased by his father Rene (1989) and his
brother Bob (2006). Doug's "outlaws" will miss him immensely, he was
one of their "own" and an all around great guy. Along with nephews
and nieces who loved Uncle Doug, he will be missed by his many friends,
especially his best friend, Tom Reaume. Doug, Tom and Scott Blackmore opened
and successfully operated FloraPlast, Inc, in Chatham. Cremation has already
taken place. Family will receive friends at the Secord & Smith Funeral
Home, 8 Aberdeen, St. Merlin, (519-689-4261, 519-689-4261) on Friday, June 11,
2010, 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. until time of the memorial service at
7:00 p.m. on Friday June 11, 2010 at the funeral home with Pastor Eric Skillings
officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to an education fund set
up for Doug's boys Nick and Connor. www.secordsmithfh.ca.
