Dec. 2, 2013, Chicago — Martha Stewart will be the star keynote at next summer's eighth annual IGC Chicago.
During the show, IGC Show founder Jeff Morey will interview Stewart about the gardening and consumer lifestyle trends that matter most to the success of independent garden centre owners and operators, now and in the years to come.
Morey got the idea to approach Stewart about the keynote just before last summer's IGC Show in Chicago.
"I had the Today Show on, and Martha was doing a gardening segment out on the plaza. She really championed IGCs to the audience, recommending they go to their local garden centres for their plants and supplies," said Morey. "We're thrilled to bring her perspectives on consumer gardening trends to IGC Chicago this summer."
