Looije Agro Technics builds geothermal greenhouse

Looije Agro Technics in Turnice in Slovenia will shortly finish project Paradajz, which is about 20 kms from the Slovenian-Austrian border, which includes a modern greenhouse heated by a geothermal system.

It is a modern vegetable company with an area of 4 HA organised to grow tomatoes on substratum. “The first time I came into contact with the people behind Paradajz was in 2007,” Martin Looije says. “Enthusiastic people with ideas, but still without knowledge of modern glasshouse horticulture.
