Nov. 24, 2011, Pensacola, FL – Emerald Coast Growers marketing manager John Friel is the new president of the Perennial Plant Association (PPA).
The PPA is known as an industry-leading organization hosting national and regional symposia with educational seminars, networking, camaraderie, and tours to public gardens, private gardens, retail nurseries and wholesale growers.
PPA members choose a Perennial Plant of the Year, an industry highlight. Growers and gardeners alike eagerly await the announcement of the winner.
The 2012 PPA National Symposium will be held in Boston from July 3-10.
