July 12, 2012, Dublin, CA — Epicor Software Corporation has signed an agreement with Commerce Corporation to provide independent lawn and garden retailers in the United States with tools designed to enhance their business operations.
Epicor has named Commerce Corporation as its approved technology vendor partner, providing Epicor Eagle for lawn and garden management software. The partnership will integrate software solutions for both new and existing Epicor customers to improve communications, streamline ordering processes, and increase profitability for their customers.
“Through this partnership with Epicor, our retailer clients will have the opportunity to leverage the Epicor lawn and garden management software to implement industry best practices, improve their business operations, and ultimately increase profits,” said Richard Lessans, CEO of Commerce Corporation.
Epicor lawn and garden management software assists independent lawn and garden businesses in managing all parts of their operations, through point of sale, inventory management, financials, purchasing, payroll and marketing.

Commerce Corporation, in operation since 1923, is the largest independently owned lawn and garden distributor in the United States, serving approximately 3,600 independent garden centres nationwide.
