The BC Ministry of Agriculture released provincial guidelines for employers of temporary foreign workers this week.
The document contains specific steps that farms must follow to address COVID-19. This includes a workplace risk assessment, employee education, proper hygiene and cleaning, as well as physical distancing measures while working, in transit, and in common areas. Housing guidelines are provided as well.
Employers must also satisfy federal guidelines, available here.
