July 19, 2011, Kingsville, Ont. — Connie and Rick Bradt have announced the following appointments to the A.M.A. Plastics Ltd. management team:
• Janan Alles – Manager, Growing Containers, Soils and Equipment.
• Terry Maiuri – Manager, Logistics and Properties.
• Shawn Mallen – Manager, Hydroponics and Manufacturing.
• John Vezina – Manager, Ellepots and Pre-Fill.
The four managers are well known to A.M.A. customers. “With the support of A.M.A.'s terrific staff and greenhouse growing experience behind them,” notes a company news release, “they'll help with product selection and have it delivered at the right time, helping to improve the profitability of growers.”
A.M.A. Plastics was founded in 1982 by Connie's father, Allen Monsma. Nearly 30 years later, its product list has expanded into containers, seeding and production equipment, grower and retail mixes, hydroponic growing media, and twines and clips. It is expanding again in Ellepot production.
