2016 Webinars
Thrips are one of the most serious greenhouse pests, with an especially large host range that makes most greenhouse crops vulnerable. They readily develop resistance to pesticides, to the point where, in some countries, there are few or no effective pesticides available to control them. However there are a number of tools and resources growers can access, as the webinar will discuss.

Leading this presentation will be Dr. Sarah Jandricic, the floriculture IPM specialist with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA).

Succession planning is essential to a smooth transition when retirements roll around, and this webinar will offer solid advice on how best to prepare.

Leading the session is Terry Betker, president and CEO of Backswath Management Inc., based in Manitoba.
