This federal-provincial-territorial initiative has helped many farmers across Canada grow their operations, including many greenhouse producers. While the program is national in scope, program delivery is slightly different across the provinces.

“Whether you are starting out, or have been in business a long time, GF2 can help you reach your goals,” notes the GF2 website.

“The program offers resources, tools and cost-share funding assistance to eligible producers, processors, organizations and collaborations to grow their profits, expand markets and manage shared risks.”

In Ontario, the program is delivered to farmers by the Ontario Soil and Crop Improvement Association. Leading our webinar will be OSCIA program coordinator Barbara Caswell. She will outline how GF2 works in Ontario.
