A large ornamentals grower recently noted:

“Water is an issue that is of the highest importance in our industry. For years we have heard about fuel (diesel, natural gas, propane, etc.), labour, etc. But, water is the single most important asset that is coming under incredible pressure. Forget the issue of the cost; the real issue is availability of water! How do we take this precious resource and develop initiatives to maximize highest and best use?”

Water availability means survivability for green industry businesses. Water restrictions can severely reduce consumer purchases and interest in our products.

Learn how others are tackling water from engaging the public to influencing water policy. Ideas and perspectives from growers in both humid and arid states will stimulate discussion on this critical, yet under-appreciated resource and input.

This year’s Seeley will take place June 22-24 in Lisle, Illinois – conveniently located for ease of travel into Chicago O’Hare and Midway airports.

Seeley Summits are structured to foster discussion by green industry leaders and increase the level of understanding of topics through presentations by speakers with a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.

The goal of the Summit is to better prepare attendees to make decisions on issues that have a great impact on their businesses and the industry as a whole.
