Dec. 13, 2010, Vancouver – Albert Vanzeyst has stepped down as
president and chief operating officer from Village Farms International
to pursue other opportunities.

Dec. 13, 2010, Vancouver – Albert Vanzeyst has stepped down as president and chief operating officer at Village Farms International to pursue other opportunities. He was also a company director.

“Albert has been a strong contributor to our company during his more than 20 years of service,” said CEO Michael DeGiglio. “We wish him well in his future endeavours.”

Village Farms is one of the largest producers, marketers and distributors of greenhouse vegetables in North America. Produce is marketed and distributed under the Village Farms® brand primarily to retail grocers and dedicated fresh food distributors throughout the U.S. and Canada.

The company owns greenhouses in Texas and British Columbia and operates distribution centres in key markets in the U.S. and Canada.
