Dr. Mohyuddin Mirza

Mohyuddin Mirza, PhD, graduated from the University of Alberta almost 51 years ago. He gained his knowledge and experience by working with greenhouse growers and has over 40 years of experience in managing greenhouse crops. His method to dealing with plants comes from an understanding of their needs and how they carry out photosynthesis, respiration, transpiration, evapotranspiration and assimilate partitioning. Dr. Mirza was inducted into the Alberta Agriculture Hall of Fame in 2014 and is the author of several extension and research publications. A well-known speaker, growers can expect to learn and rejuvenate their knowledge while improving decision-making capabilities at the right time.
