Twenty new ‘reds’ in VRIC poinsettia trials

Nov. 21, 2012, Vineland Station, Ont. — Some 115 cultivars, including 20
new reds, will be showcased next week in the annual poinsettia open
house at Vineland Research and Innovation Centre (VRIC).
Nov. 21, 2012, Vineland Station, Ont. — Some 115 cultivars, including 20 new reds, will be showcased next week in the annual poinsettia open house at Vineland Research and Innovation Centre (VRIC).
The open house will be held Nov. 29, from 1 to 4:30.
Participating breeders include Dummen USA, Paul Ecke Ranch, Beekenkamp Plants, Selecta First Class and Syngenta Flowers.
The open house is sponsored by OMAFRA, VRIC and the University of Guelph.
