and supply of multi-bay high tunnels for the agricultural, nursery and
greenhouse markets.
May 18, 2012, Tillsonburg, Ont. — Tillsonburg Tube has purchased Tunnel Tech , of Lasalette, Ontario, a manufacturer specializing in the design and supply of multi-bay high tunnels for the agricultural, nursery and greenhouse markets.
According to Keith Prince of Tillsonburg Tube, “tunnels are becoming increasingly popular in the agricultural market, because they are so effective in extending the growing season, and improving produce quality and yield.”
Tunnel Tech is a one-stop supplier that provides planning, site measurements, installation, venting and tunnel management services. Taking into account the varying requirements based on winds, micro-climates, soil type and crops chosen, the company customizes each installation to best meet a grower’s needs.
The company has experience with installations across Canada and the United States, and has even custom-designed tunnels for use in the Caribbean.
