Suntory Flowers was the anchor exhibitor showcasing its digital resources under YESS! – Your Easy Suntory Solution.
The cutting-edge flower breeder based in Japan has invested in high quality digital resources for growers, retailers and gardeners housed on www.suntorycollection.com.
These range from nearly 250 videos that show how to grow and care for the plants, to inspiring Saturday afternoon projects and outdoor living makeovers. These videos provide a wealth of professional content for websites, social media and to drop in customer enewsletters.
Doug McQueen, who developed much of the technology in YESS, showed attendees how they can create customized posters and bench cards to promote plants at retail. In addition to these ready-made templates, Suntory has an extensive online photo gallery full of images to download to create your own promotions.
VIRTUAL COMBO DESIGNER
Another exciting tool is the Virtual Combo Designer, a free app that makes it easy to explore combination plantings. This tool is also on the Suntory Collection website along with a companion garden designer.
Suntory also has mobile sites for smart phones with navigation for growers and gardeners. Growers can check production details in the greenhouse, while gardeners can see so much more than what can fit on a plant tag with planting and care instructions.
