The warm weather brings homeowners shopping for an
array of flowers to fill their gardens. This year, with focus on buying
locally grown products, stores such as Metro, Lablaws, Sobey's, Longos,
and many independent gardening centres are hanging the pickOntario
banner high. The banner lets their customers know that many varieties
of flowers sold at the location are grown and purchased locally.
As gardening season is in full swing, garden
centres are realizing that more and more customers are looking to plant
flowers grown here in Ontario soil.
