Aug. 26, 2013 — A rare and delicate flowering plant has been found near a creek in southwestern New Brunswick.
Aug. 26, 2013 — A rare and delicate flowering plant has been found near a creek in southwestern New Brunswick.
Biologists working for the Nature Conservancy of Canada and J-D Irving Limited uncovered the presence of Van Brunt’s Jacob’s-ladder during a plant survey on the company’s property along a tributary of Dipper Harbour Creek.
The plant is only known to exist in a handful of locations in New Brunswick and Quebec.
