Apr. 26, 2012 — Rainforest Ecological Sprinklers are designed to lower water consumption even under the most difficult growing conditions.
The sprinkler's unique heart-shaped design breaks up water droplets to improve delivery to the root zone and to prevent water from being wasted in pools and run off. The sprinklers operate at low pressures ranging between 20 and 80 psi and are designed not to clog.
"Because they can't clog, Rainforest Sprinklers are ideal for hard water areas and for low-pressure systems like wells," said Mark Grambart, president and CEO of sprinkler manufacturer Contech Enterprises. "They can be used with regular and even high pressure just as well. A lot of nurseries and greenhouses use them to mist very delicate plants and seedlings."
The sprinklers provide coverage to an area up to 2,000 square feet and can be used in sequence to extend their reach.
Rainforest Sprinklers are available in 11 styles and formats, including the Rainforest Recycled Eco Sprinkler, made entirely from recycled plastic.
