April 14, 2009 — Proven Winners® ColorChoice® will be a sponsor of the popular TV show GardenSMART this spring. Appearing on over 450 PBS affiliates throughout the U.S., GardenSMART reaches 87 per cent of the country and over 1.5 million people each week.
GardenSMART highlights spectacular public and private gardens across the country. The show's emphasis with on-location filming rather than studio production makes it uniquely appealing to PBS’s highly educated and affluent audience. Upcoming sites include Thomas Jefferson's Monticello Estate in Virginia, the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden, and the Lake Tahoe Garden Tour. Proven Winners ColorChoice plants will enjoy product placement for these episodes. GardenSMART will also film at Spring Meadow Nursery this spring.
As a sponsor, Proven Winners ColorChoice will enjoy two 15-second commercials, product placement opportunities, and a new shrub feature on each episode. Additionally, videos and articles on the featured shrubs will be published on the www.GardenSmart.tv website. Visitors will even have the opportunity to purchase the featured shrubs and to receive a free copy of the Proven Winners Garden Simplified shrub guide.
