Leamington-based brand Pure Flavor will be unveiling their new line of products at the CPMA convention and trade show this week.

Named the Craft House Collection, this product line includes greenhouse-grown vegetables that were chosen for best-cooking results. According to Chris Veillon, chief marketing officer at Pure Hothouse Foods, not all vegetables are great for cooking. By partnering with industry chefs from six different restaurants, they were able to identify the first two items featured in the collection – the Mini San Marzano tomatoes and Aurora Long sweet peppers.

As executive vice-president Matt Mastronardi notes, both items aren’t just ideal for snacking, but also for grilling, baking, stuffing and sautéing.

Pure Flavor has also announced their plans to add a number of existing organic growers to their network in Ontario.

“Increased demand for our organics program has prompted us to expand our Canadian organic product offering,” says Jamie Moracci, president. The company now has eight USDA-certified organic products that ship year-round.
