control products, and seeds in North America, celebrated the official
opening of its new distribution warehouse and office facility in
Ancaster.
June 26, 2014, Ancaster, Ont.– Plant Products, a full-service supplier of fertilizers, pest control products, and seeds in North America, celebrated the official opening of its new distribution warehouse and office facility in Ancaster.
About 150 guests attended the open house from throughout the province.
While the ribbon-cutting ceremonies were held today, employees began settling into the new building last December.

“We are very excited about opening our new location in Ancaster,” said company president Chris Stickles. “We expect our customers and suppliers to benefit from this centralized location.”
The 47,000-square-foot building replaces the company’s previous warehouse and office facility in Brampton.
“Everyone here at Plant Products is thrilled to move into our new facility,” said general manager Gord Jahn. “This is a new building that will accommodate our growth plans with additional square footage for pest control products, which include such features as separate climate controlled biopesticide and biological storage rooms.”

The new facility is located just minutes from Hwy. 403. It is also a short drive to the Niagara region, and other major horticulture regions in southwestern Ontarioo.
“Most importantly,” noted Jahn, “the relocation is driven by the company’s commitment to better serve our customers.”
ABOUT PLANT PRODUCTS
Plant Product's distribution centres include Leamington and Ancaster in Ontario, Laval in Quebec, and Detroit.
It is a full-service distributor of fertilizer, pest control products, seeds, substrates and innovative consumables servicing the greenhouse, nursery, specialty agriculture, and turf industries in Canada and the U.S.
Plant Products has 95 employees in total, including 25 in the Ancaster location.
The company is a family-run business that has been serving customers since 1941.
