Oregon co-gen facility to include 40-acre greenhouse

A co-gen project in Dallas, Oregon is being planned to include two 4.36 MW natural gas turbines and a hydroponic greenhouse for tomato and cucumber production.
The heat and emissions from the plant willl be captured and used in the greenhouse. Sustainable Business Oregon reports that $60 million is needed to launch the project.
