Open house and poinsettia trial

Nov. 28, 2013, Vineland Station, ON — The Vineland Research and Innovation Centre is keeping holiday tradition alive with its annual Poinsettia Cultivar Open House.

On Dec. 5, Vineland's research greenhouses will open their doors and give growers and other green industry professionals a peek at 110 different cultivars, including 30 numbered selections. The trials feature cultivars bred by Dummen, Paul Ecke Ranch, Beekenkamp Plants, Selecta First Class and Syngenta Flowers.

The open house runs from 1:00 p.m to 4:30 p.m.
