Windset to introduce two new items at CPMA

March 28, 2014, Delta, B.C. – Windset Farms, named World’s Best Tomato
Grower at the Tomato Inspiration Event held in Berlin last month, has
added greenhouse-grown strawberries and Shanghai bok choy to their
produce family.

March 28, 2014, Delta, B.C. – Windset Farms, named World’s Best Tomato Grower at the Tomato Inspiration Event held in Berlin last month, has added greenhouse-grown strawberries and Shanghai bok choy to their produce family.

These new items, in addition to a full line of tomatoes, will be sampled at Booth #745 during the CPMA Convention from April 2-4 in Vancouver. Also featured will be the company’s new packaging using state-of-the-art Breatheway® technology.

“We are excited to welcome all our Friends in Freshness™ to our hometown of Vancouver,” said Windset owners John and Steven Newell.

soprano_strawberryThe locally grown Soprano™ strawberries will be available all year, as will the fragrant Shanghai bok choy, an item already in high demand from retailers.

Windset will also be hosting an open house at The Roof at Black+Blue (1032 Alberni Street) on Thursday night (April 3). Featured will be dinner and refreshments. The festivities get underway at 6 p.m.
