Retail consultant John Stanley has returned for a second year with a two-day immersive workshop for garden centres, meant for sharing ideas about the future and ways to leverage change for the betterment of their businesses

Known as “The Gathering”, the September workshop is geared towards independent garden centre owners and managers. It was held previously in Paris, France in 2018, and will be taking place in Prague, Czech this September 23 to 24.

According to the release, John will be leading sessions on:

Marketing with Impact: Marketing your business is becoming more

challenging… what worked yesterday will not work tomorrow. Explore new ideas

that can help your business.

• Merchandising with Impact: Displaying products is one of the keys to success.

Explore what your peers are doing and what new ways of merchandising can you

develop for the new generation customers.

Engagement with Impact: Engagement is what new generation customers

expect. Engaged consumers become advocates. What can you develop to

improve your engagement skills?”

A visit to Chladeks Garden Centre is also planned.

Interested garden centres shouldn’t delay. The workshop is limited to 20 delegates to allow for effective discussion, and 15 have already been registered from across the globe, including representatives from Australia, Czech, Denmark, Greece, Russia, Ukraine, USA and the UK.

The workshop cost of €1,600 includes the two-day workshop, two nights’ accommodation and all meals. Reserve your place by contacting John Stanley at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
