Only one week away, the 94th annual Canadian Produce Marketing Association's Convention and Trade Show will be taking place in Montreal, Quebec from April 2 to 4.

According to organizers, it’s the largest trade show in Canada dedicated to the fruit and vegetable industry. Over 300 unique companies will be exhibiting. The event features networking and social events, as well as free ‘Learning Lounge’ educational sessions. Key sessions include:

Technology driving the produce business today
o Blockchain, precision agriculture, automation, and much more are embraced by businesses searching to improve how produce is grown, harvested, packed, shipped and sold, while leveraging data to provide better decision making and transparency across the supply chain. Hear how organizations are embracing technology and its effect on the produce sector as a whole.

Improving Enterprise Efficiencies to Reduce Food Loss and Waste

In doing so, they not only improve organization performance and bottom line, but also remove unnecessary food loss and waste within their operation.
