Timely tee time for(e!) floriculture research

July 2, 2015, Fenwick, Ont. — Floriculture research in Canada has received a boost courtesy of this year’s Flowers Canada Ontario golf tournament.

During the awards presentation, former executive director Dean Shoemaker was thanked for his many years of service to FCO and the Canadian Greenhouse Conference. Shoemaker has left FCO to tackle new business challenges.

Of particular note, I didn’t repeat as a member of the Most Honest Team this year, despite my less than spectacular play. Thank goodness for the Best Ball format, or I’d still be out there…
