Brian Bauman, owner and manager of Bauman Farm and Garden, says the generous support of Proven Winners has allowed his company an opportunity to put not only a beautiful plant, but also a constant reminder of the impact of breast cancer, in the hands of 1,000 people. “We realize that one plant is a small reminder, but by doing the little things we all can make a big difference.”

Kris Knox, preflirtation_clsupsident of The Linda L. Vladyka Breast Wellness Foundation, thanked Bauman’s Farm and Proven Winners for their donation. “Our foundation is committed to fund the progress of breast cancer treatment and research, in addition to raising awareness and helping educate individuals on the importance of early detection.”

Each Proven Winners 'Flirtation Pink Diascia' will have a tag encouraging gardeners to “plant this in hope and memory of those affected by breast cancer” and will invite attendees to Bauman’s booth (867). Bauman’s will then donate five per cent of all product sold during the show to The Linda L. Vladyka Breast Wellness Foundation.

'Flirtation Pink Diascia' won nine awards at trialing for 2008. For more information, visit www.provenwinners.com.
