Spreading the good word on greenhouses

Leamington, ON – NatureFresh™ Farms is serious about spreading the word on greenhouse-grown produce. So rather than bringing the consumer to the greenhouse, they’re bringing the greenhouse to the consumer.

Described as a “greenhouse on wheels”, the 38-ft. Greenhouse Education Center gives consumers a “behind-the-scenes look” at real plants and how they’re grown, including drippers, ventilation system and heating rails.

Led by a team of passionate students with diverse educational backgrounds, the Center aims to educate consumers on how greenhouse vegetables are produced, and to encourage healthier eating habits.
