ALBRIGHTON, England (Reuters) – Sales in the gardening industry in the U.K. grew to a retail turnover of over £5 billion in 2006 with nearly half of that being spent on horticultural stock, says the Horticultural Trades Association (HTA).
The Scotts Miracle-Gro Co. has launched a law suit against TerraCycle Inc., claiming the startup company has copied its packaging and falsely advertised its plant food as superior.
The B.C. Agricultural Council named Bevo Farms the Showcase Farm of the Year.  The award is given to farms that are open to the public or the media to showcase and promote the industry.
