Ownership change for Gryphon Automation

October 1, 2018  By Greenhouse Canada

After seven years in business, Gryphon Automation has announced the retirement of co-founder Don Murney.

First started in 2011 by Murney and Nelson Rafael, the Leamington-based company provides custom greenhouse automation solutions including climate computers, fertilizer injectors and water recirculation equipment. They also offer services for DGT and Hoogendoorn computers, CDN and Voltmatic injectors and IGT Systems ozone units.

In 2014, Gryphon Electrical Services was added in partnership with Patrick Patterson. Patterson and technical services manager Diogo Caneco will purchase Murney’s shares and help manage both companies with Rafael.
