June 5, 2014, Leamington, Ont. — Niki Bennett has joined Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable Growers as interim science coordinator effective June 16 through January 2015.
She is acting in this position while current science coordinator Leanne Wilson is on leave.
Bennett will be responsible for coordinating all of OGVG’s research, pest management, and education initiatives during this time.
She obtained an HBSc in Biology from the University of Western Ontario in 2001 and has years of experience working for a range of technology, science and healthcare companies.
She has worked closely with government and non-government stakeholders and has extensive project management and administrative experience.
