OGVG a longtime supporter of retailer awards

April 10, 2015, Leamington, Ont. – Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable Growers (OGVG) welcomes the support of retailers across the province.

The OGVG has congratulated this year’s 69 Foodland Ontario Retailer Award winners.

The awards recognize stores that have exhibited excellence in display, promotion and support for locally grown products and Foodland Ontario.

OFVG has long supported this initiative that has been utilizing greenhouse vegetables as a predominant category within the competition.

“We are delighted to be part of recognizing our retail partners who support our local greenhouse vegetable growers,” said general manager George Gilvesy.

“We know that our members appreciate the efforts that are put forward to help consumers identify and select produce grown on their farms and we look forward to the ongoing support of Foodland Ontario.”
