Nominations open for Canada’s greenhouse awards

March 11, 2019  By Greta Chiu

Nominations for Greenhouse Canada magazine’s annual awards are open once again – and this time, there’s a new addition.

New for 2019 is the Grower of the Year award. This award recognizes a greenhouse grower for their innovative thinking, hard work and dedication to their craft. Nominees must be actively involved in their operations. No age restrictions.

For those under 40 years of age, a familiar set of awards have been unveiled in a new format – the Top 4 Under 40 awards, sponsored by Paul Boers and Prins. Nominees must work in greenhouse horticulture, related equipment and technology sectors, and/or allied trades, and be under 40 years of age by December 31, 2019.

Created to celebrate horticulture and the budding young generation, nominations are often submitted by fellow growers, colleagues, or supervisors who wish to recognize the efforts of their peers.

Nominations close May 10, 2019. For details and nomination forms, go to greenhousecanada.com/awards.
