Keith Cable has been appointed to the newly created role of president at Dümmen Orange, North America.

With offices in the Netherlands and in Ohio, this change to leadership structure is expected to help align and address the needs of their customers, following the acquisitions of wholesale brokerage firms McHutchison and Vaughan’s Horticulture in 2017.

According to the release, all three business units will continue to operate independently while reporting to the new North American leadership, and customers will experience no change in their day-to-day interactions.

“This new regional leadership position will facilitate increased synergy across all business units, improving our efficiency and effectiveness in the market,” says Cable, now president of Dümmen Orange, North America.

Cable was previously vice-president, then president, of Vaughan’s Horticulture for close to nine years. Prior to that, he served as president of Syngenta’s hort services for seven years.
